Dedication Ceremony for New Playground and Parking Lot Expansion at Madison Elementary Set for Dec. 14, 2023

The Santa Ana Unified School District is holding a dedication ceremony at 4 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2023 to celebrate the new Playground and Parking Lot Expansion at Madison Elementary School. Click here to RSVP by Dec. 13, 2023.

SAUSD Unveils Cutting-Edge Learning Spaces at Jefferson Elementary: New Two-Story Classroom Building and Multi-Purpose Room

SAUSD leaders gathered at Jefferson Elementary on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023 to celebrate the opening of a new two-story classroom building, housing 12 classrooms, and a new Multi Purpose Room. As part of the project, 11 aging portable buildings were removed and a state-of-the-art “Portable to Permanent” classroom building was constructed in their place. School Budget Town Hall Meetings Scheduled For Dec. 19, 2023

The District is hosting two community town hall meetings on Dec. 19, 2023 to provide information and answer questions about the budget process and how schools are funded. The first is scheduled for 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Delhi Center, 505 E. Central Ave. The second takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lydia Romero-Cruz Academy, 2701 W. 5th St. Click here for more information.

Join the Spirit of Giving: Support CENA 2023

Donations are now being collected to help fund Caring Educators Nourishing All (CENA) 2023, an annual tradition in which the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) community comes together to provide holiday meals and toys for hundreds of SAUSD students and their families. Although the format of the event is different this year, the spirit lives on. Organizers aim to provide 10,000 toys and 4,000 grocery gift cards for our families in need. SAUSD and SAPSF Invite You to Host a Toy Drive Benefiting Santa Ana Youth

Join Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) and the Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation (SAPSF) in bringing holiday cheer to the youth of Santa Ana! We warmly invite business owners and community members to be part of this joyous initiative by hosting a toy drive. Our goal is to collect 10,000 toys for the youth in Santa Ana. SAUSD Open Enrollment For 2024-2025 School Year Runs Through Feb. 28, 2024

Open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year has begun and runs through Feb. 28, 2024. During this time parents may enroll new students, request transfers, and participate in the lottery process for fundamental schools. SAUSD Seeks Public Input on Facilities Master Plan

SAUSD is seeking input on its Facilities Master Plan, which identifies construction needs for schools. This survey will help the District better plan for future upgrades and renovations across SAUSD. Ernesto Cisneros: Award-Winning Author and Devoted Educator Inspires SAUSD Community with 'Efrén Divided' at Family Book Club

Introducing Ernesto Cisneros, an exceptional educator, proud alumni, and acclaimed author within the SAUSD community! As a devoted teacher at Mendez Fundamental Intermediate, Ernesto recently had the honor of joining the FACE team in a heartwarming family book club at the District's Wellness Center. The event showcased his award-winning book, 'Efrén Divided,' recipient of the prestigious Golden Poppy Award. An alum of SAUSD himself, Ernesto expressed his immense joy at sharing this inspiring work with the community that inspired it. Annual Santa Ana High School Dance Festival

Enjoy the highlights of the Annual Santa Ana High School Dance Festival, where the dance teams of Century, Saddleback, Godinez, Valley, Irvine, University, Villa Park, Diamond Ranch, and Anaheim High Schools showcased their incredible talents.
