Join the Spirit of Giving: Support CENA 2023
Donations are now being collected to help fund Caring Educators Nourishing All (CENA) 2023, an annual tradition in which the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) community comes together to provide holiday meals and toys for hundreds of SAUSD students and their families. Although the format of the event is different this year, the spirit lives on. Organizers aim to provide 10,000 toys and 4,000 grocery gift cards for our families in need. Dec. 8: Annual Stuff-A-Bus Toy Collection Drive
Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD), Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation and Santa Ana School Police will be accepting toy donations for its annual Stuff-A-Bus Toy Collection Drive. Organizers aim to collect 10,000 new and unwrapped toys. Join us Dec. 8, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be photos with Santa, holiday treats, choir performances and more. SAUSD and SAPSF Invite You to Host a Toy Drive Benefiting Santa Ana Youth
Join Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) and the Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation (SAPSF) in bringing holiday cheer to the youth of Santa Ana! We warmly invite business owners and community members to be part of this joyous initiative by hosting a toy drive. Our goal is to collect 10,000 toys for the youth in Santa Ana. School Budget Town Hall Meetings Scheduled For Dec. 19, 2023
The District is hosting two community town hall meetings on Dec. 19, 2023 to provide information and answer questions about the budget process and how schools are funded. The first is scheduled for 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Delhi Center, 505 E. Central Ave. The second takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lydia Romero-Cruz Academy, 2701 W. 5th St. Click here for more information.

SAUSD Open Enrollment For 2024-2025 School Year Runs Through Feb. 28, 2024
Open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year has begun and runs through Feb. 28, 2024. During this time parents may enroll new students, request transfers, and participate in the lottery process for fundamental schools. SAUSD Seeks Public Input on Facilities Master Plan
SAUSD is seeking input on its Facilities Master Plan, which identifies construction needs for schools. This survey will help the District better plan for future upgrades and renovations across SAUSD. Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation Now Accepting Applications For Spark Innovation For Learning Grants
The Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation invites elementary teacher teams (consisting of 3 to 5 teachers) to apply for Spark Innovation for Learning Grants. Successful applicants will have the chance to receive an 8-pack of ClassVR virtual reality headsets for shared use in their classrooms, fostering innovative learning experiences for students. Additionally, intermediate and high school educators are encouraged to apply for two Meta Quest virtual reality headsets to enhance learning in their classrooms. SAUSD Intermediate School Resource Fair Connects Students and Families to 6th Grade Options and Community Resources
SAUSD hosted an Intermediate School Resource Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Century H.S. where students and families had the opportunity to engage with representatives from intermediate schools across the District, exploring 6th grade options within SAUSD.
