This is a friendly reminder to families that wish to participate in the lottery process for the 2023-2024 school year for the elementary and intermediate fundamental schools. SAUSD will accept lottery applications until 4 p.m. on Jan. 25, 2023 via Google Forms. Click here for important links and information.

Attention parents/guardians: If you are interested in transferring your student either into SAUSD (Inter-district) or would like to attend a school that is not your school of residence (Intra-district), please visit our Enrollment Center here. SAUSD’s transfer window is officially open until Feb. 15, 2023 at 4 p.m.

In SAUSD, there are many ways that we measure a child’s learning. Teachers use report card grades, classroom work, teacher observations, and end-of-year statewide test results to get a complete picture of students’ learning. For the 2023 spring administration of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and the Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), students will continue to take their assigned tests in-person. The Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation is now accepting applications from SAUSD graduating seniors for a variety of scholarships that support post-secondary educational goals. Scholarships are made available by funds donated by the community to the foundation. The deadline to apply is Feb. 15, 2023. Click here for details.
