Graduation season has officially arrived in SAUSD, and along with it comes this year’s high school commencement ceremony schedule, which can be found here! Reminder: Admission tickets are required for in-person attendance. And all ceremonies will be live streamed at www.sausd.us/classof2023.

Whether you’re pursuing college, career, military or other avenues after high school, the District wants to share your story with our community! Log into your sausdlearns account, fill out this interest form, and upload your photo for a chance to be featured in our #SAUSDClassof2023 social media campaign.

The SAUSD community is invited to the upcoming 2023 LGBTQ+ Youth Convening at Segerstrom High School. The event includes speakers, workshops and a resource fair, and highlights the importance of providing inclusive practices to create restorative and intersectional spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth in Orange County and beyond. The SAUSD Board of Education recognized the District’s Teachers, Support Staff, and Classified Employees of the Year during its May 9, 2023 meeting. More than 300 SAUSD students in grades 3-12 participated in two robotics showcases May 13, 2023 at Saddleback High School, in what was collectively the largest robotics event in District history! Scholars learned hands-on lessons about engineering, coding, teamwork and more. Click here to view photos.

At SAUSD, scholars are architects of their own learning! On May 12, 2023 students from Santa Ana High School’s Visual & Performing Arts program showcased their various talents - from choir, to film, to orchestra - on a schoolwide level during the Arts on the Lawn event. Click here to view photos.

Talented middle and high school students from across the District showcased their skills May 11, 2023 during SAUSD Arts’ “Concert of the Century” at Century High School! Scholars from Lathrop, Esqueda, Saddleback, Century, Godinez, Valley and SAHS worked hard all year long to perfect their performances in various musical genres. Click here to view photos.
