The resolution, which also proclaims May 8-12, 2023 as National Teacher/Support Staff Appreciation Week, recognizes that through the collective work of teachers, support staff and classified employees, the children of Santa Ana will be provided a world-class education to ensure that they are college and career ready. The 2023 LGBTQ+ Youth Convening was held at Segerstrom High School on May 20, 2023. The event highlighted the importance of providing inclusive practices to create restorative and intersectional spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth in Orange County and beyond. Click here to view photos.

Dozens of SAUSD students took part in the recent Santa Ana NJROTC Unit’s 52nd Annual Awards Ceremony, Change of Command and Evening Parade at Santa Ana High School. Scholars representing SAHS, Century, Santa Ana Valley, Godinez, Segerstrom and Circulos at the Advanced Learning Academy received awards from numerous organizations while being cheered on by supporters.
