Celebrating National School Psychology Week: Recognizing Our School Psychologists


The SAUSD Board of Education has adopted a resolution proclaiming November 11-15, 2024, as National School Psychology Week. This week is dedicated to acknowledging the vital role our school psychologists play in supporting the well-being and academic success of students across the district. Century High School Launches New Partnership with High School Inc. to Expand Career Training for Students


On Nov. 4, 2024, Century High School held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate an exciting new partnership with the High School Inc. Academies Foundation. With SAUSD Board Vice President Dr. Alfonso Alvarez and members from the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce in attendance, this collaboration aims to bring hands-on learning opportunities, mentorship, and career training directly to students. Supported by SAUSD, the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, and High School Inc., this initiative marks a significant milestone in creating robust pathways to success for our future leaders. Celebrating Success and Innovation at the State of the District Breakfast


Our SAUSD community, alongside the Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation, recently gathered to celebrate the progress and innovation driving student success. Superintendent Jerry Almendarez highlighted district achievements, from integrating AI in classrooms to equipping students with skills for future careers and college readiness. Valley High Marks 10 Years of Valley De Los Muertos Celebration


Santa Ana Valley High School recently commemorated the 10th anniversary of its beloved Valley De Los Muertos event. The celebration featured powerful student performances, beautifully crafted altars, and a vibrant atmosphere honoring the Día de los Muertos tradition.
