SAUSD Open Enrollment For 2024-2025 School Year Runs Through Feb. 28, 2024

Open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year has begun and runs through Feb. 28, 2024. During this time parents may enroll new students, request transfers, and participate in the lottery process for fundamental schools. MCHS Teacher Tamara Storms Honored at 2024 OC Teachers of the Year Dinner

Congratulations to Tamara Storms, SAUSD High School Teacher of the Year from Middle College High School! Storms was recognized Nov. 6, 2023 for her outstanding dedication to education at the 2024 Orange County Teachers of the Year Dinner at the Disneyland Hotel. Her passion and hard work inspire us all! SAUSD NJROTC Cadets Participate In Annual Military Inspection

The annual military inspection of SAUSD’s NJROTC Unit took place Nov. 8, 2023 at Santa Ana High School. The unit, which is in its 52nd year and has earned Distinguished status for 23 years in a row, is made up of cadets from Century, Círculos, Godinez Fundamental, Saddleback, Santa Ana, Santa Ana Valley, and Segerstrom high schools.  For photos, click here.

SAUSD Seeks Public Input on Facilities Master Plan

SAUSD is seeking input on its Facilities Master Plan, which identifies construction needs for schools. This survey will help the District better plan for future upgrades and renovations across SAUSD. Video: Valley De Los Muertos

In keeping with tradition, Santa Ana Valley High School held its annual Dia de los Muertos themed event, Valley De Los Muertos, on Nov. 2, 2023. Students gained insight into the cultural significance and traditions behind the Day of the Dead by helping to build altars in memory of those who have passed away. Santa Ana Unified School District and the Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation co-hosted the 2023 State of the District Breakfast event on Nov. 3, 2023 at Godinez Fundamental High School. Over 400 community members attended the event, where SAUSD Superintendent Jerry Almendarez provided insights into SAUSD's efforts to create a framework for the future in learning.
