SAUSD Honors Employees for 25-40 Years of Service in Longevity Recognition Ceremony

The Santa Ana Unified School District celebrated 57 employees for their 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service during a Longevity Recognition ceremony on Oct. 25, 2023 at Villa Fundamental Intermediate School. Congratulations to all! Click here for photos and a list of honorees.

SAUSD October 2023 Employees of the Month Highlighted During Board of Education Meeting

The District’s Employees of the Month for October 2023 were highlighted during the Oct. 24, 2023 Board of Education meeting. The Certificated Employee of the Month is Kortni Ingebrigtsen, a teacher at Adams Elementary. The Classified Employee of the Month is Michael Roberts, an autism paraprofessional at Franklin Elementary. Congratulations to both! Learn more about them here.

SAUSD’s Josh Goddard Wins California Food for California Kids Leadership and Innovation Award

Congratulations to Josh Goddard, director of Nutrition Services, for being among nine honorees statewide presented with a California Food for California Kids Leadership and Innovation Award by The Center for Ecoliteracy for their creativity and initiative in school nutrition and farm to school programs! Goddard was selected as the recipient of the Sustainable Student-Centered Meals Award. The awards were presented Oct. 24, 2023 at the 2023 California Farm to School Conference. SAUSD Seeks Public Input on Facilities Master Plan

SAUSD is seeking input on its Facilities Master Plan, which identifies construction needs for schools. This survey will help the District better plan for future upgrades and renovations across SAUSD.
