COLLEGE NIGHT 2019 DRAWS HUNDREDS TO SADDLEBACK

The Santa Ana Unified School District’s annual College Night event took place Sept. 26, 2019 at Saddleback High School, drawing hundreds of students, families and community members. BOARD OF EDUCATION PASSES PROCLAMATION DECLARING IMPORTANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVES CENSUS 2020 RESOLUTION

The SAUSD Board of Education this week approved a resolution adopting Census 2020 partnership to ensure a complete, fair, and accurate count of all Californians and to continue the plan of working with city, county, state, federal, and community partnerships. ROCIO ANGUIANO: CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

VALLEY GRADUATE PLACES FIRST IN NATIONAL PIN DESIGN COMPETITION
|
The SAUSD Board of Education this week recognized 2019 Santa Ana Valley High School graduate Julia Castro for winning first place in pin design at the 56th Annual SkillsUSA National Championship, held in Kentucky on June 25-28, 2019. Castro was a member of the New Media Academy at Valley and earned numerous recognitions for her outstanding work.

SAUSD BOARD HONORS ARMSTRONG FOUNDATION
|
The SAUSD Board of Education this week recognized the Kevin Armstrong Memorial Sports Foundation for its contribution toward SAUSD’s athletic programs and promoting student wellness. SAUSD has enjoyed a strong partnership with the Foundation for years. Through this partnership, the Foundation supports the RunStrong program as well as general wellness within the District’s intramural sports programs.

SAUSD'S SUICIDE PREVENTION EFFORTS PROFILED IN OCR
