Music Academy Student News! 

Congratulations to Daphne Bickley for her acceptance and admission to the Curtis Institute of Music Summer Program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The Curtis Institute of Music is one of the premier music conservatories in the United States.  Daphne is the viola student of Jan Daugherty.

Congratulations to Joah  Bickley for an honorable mention at the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra's 2016 Young Artist Competition.  Joah is the violin student of Marjorie Hill. 

Congratulations to Annette Gregoire for placing First Chair in the Western North Carolina Regional Honors Orchestra. Annette is the student of Jan Daugherty.

Congratulations to Micah Ridenour, son of Music Academy Director Michael Ridenour, for placing First Chair (Symphonic Band) in tenor saxophone at the Western North Carolina Regional Band auditions at Western Carolina University.

GREAT job guys! We are very proud of you!
