| Hexagons made quick and easy, the Carolyn Forster way | |
Rather than time-consuming hand piecing of hexagons, at her Hexagon Workshop here in Henley on February 27th Carolyn will teach you how to machine-piece hexagons and triangles together as well as cut partial and half-hexagon shapes for filling in the outside edges of hexagon projects with a straight side. She will be teaching Y seams to join, among other techniques.

Carolyn really is the 'Queen of Hexagons', having written her best-selling book Hexagon Happenings, which shows a complete step-by-step photo guide to hexagon techniques and projects, including 15 quilt designs.

She brought in a stacks of her quilts to show us, and then was surprised by the cute little bags a customer brought in for her to see, based on designs in Carolyn's books. | |
By the way, apologies for the late arrival of this weekend's newsletter, which was caused by us all rushing to get ready for our open day yesterday, and then our newsletter writer getting what he called a horrendous cold and we reckon was really just a bit of a sniffle. Well, he is a man...

Here in Henley we have lots of free parking, space for coaches to set down and pick up, and we can organise special talks and demonstrations for your group.

As well as visiting us, you can of course also order online – and if you're local to Henley or Marlow, Click & Collect is available. Just order online or by phone, then pick up from the 'front desk' of the Henley Warehouse during office hours, or from the Marlow shop. All you have to do is phone us on (01491) 572528 to order and arrange to collect.
