Greg Haberny "Burn All Crayons"

"Burn All Crayons" is Greg Haberny's first-hand account of the over medication of our youth. Drawing upon his childhood experiences with dyslexia and ADHA, "Burn All Crayons" exemplifies and amplifies Haberny's concerns about society's preoccupation and over-zealous practice of prescribing pills as the panacea. His sensory overloaded installation is an unapologetic assault on the educational, medical and pharmaceutical industries. It grapples with how these industries inundate us with their advertising and marketing and 'quick-fix' prescriptions to feed their billion dollar empires.

Lyons Wier Gallery is over the moon to announce our next big venture. Michael Lyons Wier, in partnership with Hanif D'Andre Brown [B'LEVE] is launching Lyons Wier Music this fall. 

 

Our first venture will be a photo exhibit and EP release titled "The EP Exhibition."  

 

Lyons Wier Gallery will work with internationally recognized photographers using their unique vision and interpretive lens to highlight and capture the production and lifestyle of the seven musicians slated to record with us over the next three months.
