After a long hiatus, we are so excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual gala at the Bankers Hill Club on Saturday, October 16th, 2021!
The evening will feature cocktails, a silent auction, dinner, and musical stylings by San Diego's own Tre' Tenore. Early bird tickets are $90, tickets purchased after October 1st are $100.
All proceeds from the gala will aid the continuation of Uptown's vital work in the North Park community, assisting our neighbors through providing access to food, clothing, mail, healthcare, and social services.

Thank You! To Mission Hills United Church of Christ for their generous donation. In June, Lisa Streibing delivered towels, socks, underwear, backpacks and T-shirts to Uptown CSC. These items were collected from the church members of Mission Hills United Church of Christ.

What an incredible outpouring of donations and community in solidarity with our neighbors in need. Thank you to all who contributed, sponsored, and walked on May 15th, 2021 with us!
Thanks to you, your dedication, and your generosity, over $9,000 was raised to directly benefit Uptown's services in the North Park Community. These funds directly sustain our services, including Uptown's emergency food pantry, in-kind donations, mail services, and social services.

We are always in need of donated items for immediate use by our clients. At this time, we are most in need of the following:
- Paper goods (bowls, plates, plastic silverware)
- Plastic, paper, Ziploc, or other re-usable bags
- Blankets
- Jackets (all sizes)
- Men’s underwear (M, L, XL)
- Pet food
- Backpacks
- Camping gear

Donate Goods in-person at our center. Travel-sized hygiene supplies, men’s clothing, underwear, socks, backpacks, sleeping bags, and blankets are always in big demand. Please check our website for COVID-19 updates prior to donating.
