MEET OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

THE ART OF INNOVATION

Dr. Kim Macuare

Co-Director of Innovation Labs

Dali Museum

In her role as the lead program designer and facilitator for the Dali Museum's Innovation Labs, Dr. Macuare has helped many organizations—from non-profits to government entities to Fortune 100 companies—build their innovation capacities by developing creativity-focused mindsets and problem-solving skills. She has extensive experience in arts-based creativity training and is a certified trainer of leading research-based creativity and innovation tools FourSight Mindset and Toolset and a certified facilitator of LEGO® Serious Play® for Teams and Groups and Business Strategy.

Her keynote address will explore how art — with a special focus on Dalí’s works, processes and ideas — can help us ignite our own creative powers. Specifically, the presentation will address three main areas: seeing differently, doing differently and being differently. Audience members will have an opportunity to participate in an interactive exercise with LEGO® bricks to illustrate these concepts.
