Return of the 2nd King!

Then the king sent to summon Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the priests who were at Nob, and all of them came to the king.  And Saul said, “Hear now, son of Ahitub.” And he answered, “Here I am, my lord.”  And Saul said to him, “Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread and a sword and have inquired of God for him, so that he has risen against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?”  Then Ahimelech answered the king, “And who among all your servants is so faithful as David, who is the king's son-in-law, and captain over your bodyguard, and honored in your house?  Is today the first time that I have inquired of God for him? No! Let not the king impute anything to his servant or to all the house of my father, for your servant has known nothing of all this, much or little.”  And the king said, “You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father's house.” And the king said to the guard who stood about him, “Turn and kill the priests of the Lord, because their hand also is with David, and they knew that he fled and did not disclose it to me.” But the servants of the king would not put out their hand to strike the priests of the Lord. Then the king said to Doeg, “You turn and strike the priests.” And Doeg the Edomite turned and struck down the priests, and he killed on that day eighty-five persons who wore the linen ephod.  And Nob, the city of the priests, he put to the sword; both man and woman, child and infant, ox, donkey and sheep, he put to the sword.

        But one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped and fled after David.  And Abiathar told David that Saul had killed the priests of the Lord.  And David said to Abiathar, “I knew on that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul. I have occasioned the death of all the persons of your father's house.  Stay with me; do not be afraid, for he who seeks my life seeks your life. With me you shall be in safekeeping.” 1 Samuel 22:11-23

Without human beings, God cannot be liberated through love. This means that through parents having filial children, their realm of heart is liberated; through having patriots, kings are liberated; through having saints, the world-level president is liberated; and through having divine sons and daughters accomplish everything as His object partners of love by fulfilling the way of the filial child, God can be liberated. Hyung Jin Nim started his sermon by reading from 1 Samuel 22 which describes David hiding from Saul’s soldiers in the cave at Adullam. Saul had 85 priests executed for helping David. A king chosen by God had become a vicious tyrant. David told the last survivor of the priests' families, "stay with me...with me, you shall be in safekeeping."

The founding of the United States is different from other revolutions which simply replaced one ruling oligarchy with a different one.

Israel was a covenantal nation. It established the temple, blood sacrifices and promised to uphold the laws of God. George Washington prayed at the Trinity church in Manhattan that America would also be a covenantal nation. The most quoted book of the Revolutionary time was the Bible. The national seal proposed by Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin was of the Israelites escaping Egypt. God has given us a covenant of a government guided by the written word. America’s founders had to stand against tyranny and efforts to suffocate the patriots.

We face a similar tyrannical elite in our time. The purpose of calling Trump supporters as “semi-fascists” and “domestic terrorists” is to dehumanize and ostracize all of us.  The conservative middle class is targeted because they have amassed wealth which affords a degree of independence from centralized control that cannot be tolerated.

But America is waking up. We have seen some victories in the courts. A federal Appeals Court ruled that a new Texas law allowing those who have been deplatformed to sue Social Media is constitutional.

In the ancient world, religious leaders were political. He went to the Temple in Jerusalem, the national treasure of Israel, where he attacked the pharisees and saducees who colluded with the Roman Empire. A major reason he was crucified was because he was seen to be acting as a political figure.

Trump supported the vaccines. Mandates violated real science that shows adverse vaccine events. Heart problems and fertility problems. MRNA experts like Dr. Robert Malone warned about this. Trump should admit he was misled. Otherwise, the Left will blame him. Revealed that Fauci was deeply involved in Gain of Function research. Pfizer made tens of billions, while hiding research results. 

As Os Guinness explains in his book Zero Hour America.  A culture that values truth tellers will create people who keep their word, who agree that there are objective truths and facts that must be acknowledged. Every cell in your body has XX or XY chromosomes, regardless of how you may feel.

Lying and deceit may give you short term benefits, but those lead to a society of fear and mistrust. Relativists and postmodernists claim there is no truth. They say there is no preferred standard for families. There is no binary standard of sex. Government should fund disfiguring “trans affirmation” surgeries even if parents do not give their consent. Children are not qualified to vote or to drive a car, but they are qualified to demand expensive treatments and surgeries to chop off their body parts. If you “feel” it, it is true. It is like the Buddhist teaching that this world is “mara” or illusion. Such a view does not lead one to strive for justice. Only Judeo-Christianity speaks of a God who demands justice and about God-given rights.

The more we study the universe, the more we learn about the consistency of planetary motion, the laws of physics, and the fine tuning of the universe. Scientists studying data from space probes measuring the background radiation of the universe, called the Cosmic Microwave Background, were shocked to see all galaxies seem to be a meticulously aligned, geometric web around Earth and the Milky Way as the center of the known universe. 

The starting point is truth, not illusion. You can’t make your own truth. Therefore, each us must conform to the truth and punish lies. Otherwise, there is just survival of the fittest and coverups for the powerful, with no God-given rights, no free speech, just protection of the oligarchy. Police in big cities are told to only enforce what the powerful want.

Free speech is the best way to expose falsehood, not censorship. Saul ordered the murder of the priests who were not loyal to him. But the servants of Saul refused to do that.

It comes down to 5% responsibility of each of us to resist evil. Each of us must make a choice. Each of us must spiritually and physically prepare so that we are ready to do what is necessary. Pray and press forward for the best, and prepare for the worst. The upcoming elections are crucial.

The Return of the 2^nd King

We were so happy to welcome the 2^nd King and Queen back to Pennsylvania this past weekend. On Sunday we had beautiful Fall weather and many brothers and sisters gathered at Kook Jin Nim’s farm after the service. The weather service predicted afternoon rain but none came while we were there.

Father really loved to go to Cheongpyeong. In the 1970s, when returning to Korea he would usually visit there first. He loved to watch the trees and hills while sitting by the lake. It was an undisturbed place where he could meditate.

That is why I believe God asked Hyung Jin Nim to restore Cheongpyeong here in America. He spent over a year in Tennessee to build the property from a raw wilderness. He put himself and many brothers and sisters on the frontline, including during a cold winter, to do that.

The name of the town is Thornhill because near the top of the hills there are dense thorn bushes. There are also unmarked gravestones from the time of the Civil War. Through so much effort the thorns on the hilltops and the bushes covering the gravestones have all been cleared.

One year later, we can see a holy ground and beautiful garden of Eden unfolding. From early morning until evening you can hear the sounds of the waterfall and bird songs. Near the top of the mountain there is pure water bubbling from a spring named after the spring of Gihon in the Kidron valley in Israel, where David built his city. From there he designed the cascading waterfall. Then he led brothers and sisters to expand the pond, plant fruit trees and build cabins and a teahouse.

Whatever Hyung Jin Nim starts he likes to focus on until it’s finished. The fact that he returned to Pennsylvania shows they have achieved a certain level in Tennessee. He finally feels free to visit his children and grandchildren here in the Commonwealth, where fierce election battles are going on in the state. After lunch we listened to moving testimonies from 1^st and 2^nd Gen. Then the 2^nd King led all the brothers in singing the Battle Hymn of the Republic. I felt grateful that Heavenly Father gave us a beautiful afternoon together before the battles to come.
