Community Conversations in Choctaw County

On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, Nancy Beggs, with the UA Center for Business and Economic Research, facilitated Community Conversations in Choctaw County to determine the grass-roots needs within the rural community. Topics were focused on economic growth, workforce development, access to training and opportunities, education, community development, infrastructure needs, etc.

The findings from these community conversations will be used to inform policy and legislation and will be disseminated to economic development officials, community leaders, and others at the local, regional, and state levels.
