Art  Class Display
Featured are the works of Sophia Mahoney, a senior SBA art scholarship recipient, under the direction of Sister Susanne, along with FLEX art students(clockwise l to r): Madelyn Yevoli, Colleen Quinn, Bella Santangelo, Ava McCusker, Kelly Grant, Melissa Mejia, Savannah McQuaid, and Sasha Lee. While continuing to study black and white values, FLEX artists just completed a Chuck Close inspired portrait, using photographs of models. They first drew a detailed black and white drawing, then transferred the work to Bristol Board, and collages inked values onto the work. The tool metal pieces were completed in October and inspired by vanGogh ink sketches.
