On Saturday, December 22, the team picked up a league win against Merion Mercy Academy.  Earlier that same day, the team gathered in our gym to prepare a food basket for a deserving family in our area.  The  basket was
hand delivered to the appreciative family.  They were touched of the team's thoughtfulness.

Over the Christmas holiday, the team traveled to North Carolina to participate in the 11th annual Holiday Hoopla Tournament.  The trip was a success on and off the court. The team captured the Hoopla title by defeating Williams High School from nearby Burlington, NC.  Senior captain, Casey Remolde captured the tournament MVP, while Denae Carter and Lizzie Deal were recognized as All Tournament.  Off the court, the team took time to visit the campus of North Carolina and attended a game at Carmichael Center as the Lady Tar Heels took on Howard University.  The team grew closer over the five day trip and shared each meal in a team setting.
