Sunday, August 22, 2021 is Young Adult Emphasis Sunday. Our young adults will be leading in worship and presenting messages for the broadcast on KJLH.
Sunday, August 29, 2021 is Missions Emphasis. Members of our Mission and Education Commission will be leading in worship and bring the message on KJLH. Be sure to make a contribution for Missions and Education.

**SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY**
The EmPOWERED Scholars program is open to first-year college students, sophomores, and juniors who are committed to addressing health equity issues.
This year, the AHA will award $5,000 scholarships to six students. Applications for $30K in scholarships will be accepted through September 10th.

Child of Second, Dr. Cicely Johnson-McIntosh is a new mom! She and her husband, Eric McIntosh welcomed a baby boy, Micah Jesse McIntosh, born August 7, 2021, in New York, New York. He weighed 7 lbs, 7 oz, and was 21 inches!
Congratulations to doting grandmother, member Betty Johnson!
