Greetings!

November 1st daylight saving time ends. We fall back and gain an hour. Remember to set your clocks back one hour. Also, Tuesday is election day. If you have not already voted, be sure to vote on Tuesday November 3, 2020. This election will determine the direction we take as nation.

"Once to every man and nation comes the moment to decide in the strife with truth and falsehood for the good or evil side. And that choice goes by forever twixt that darkness and that light." James Russell Lowell

“If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning." Frederick Douglass

"While we can't make things perfect, we can make them better." Barack Obama

We generally observe Women's Day in November. Vynette Moore has taken the lead with help from the women in the church particularly with Michelle Waller and Valerie McDonald.  We will do something virtually to observe Women's emphasis. We also observe Veteran's Day in November. We will do a virtue tribute to our Veterans.

Continue to practice the precautions prescribed by the CDC and health care professionals in maintaining your health and safety.

Also continue to contribute as God has blessed and prospered you commensurate with your capacity. The trustees are mailing a copy of the audit for 2018 and 2019. A zoom church meeting will be scheduled after you have perused the audit to answer any questions you may have as you are informed about what we need to do to sustain our viability.

God bless and keep you. Be well and safe.
