Building Community Relationships in Truckee:

Honoring Bob Shaffer, the legendary head coach of the Truckee High School football team. The 2025 Bob Shaffer Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Friday June 13 at the Northstar Golf Course. Bob was the coach of the Truckee High School football team from 1995 to 2012. In 18 years as head coach of Truckee football, Shaffer led the Wolverines to a 170-32 record, en route to nine state championships and 14 league titles.

The tournament also raises funding for the Truckee Football Foundation, who support the football team needs including: uniforms, travel, as well as player and coaching development.
