What's your business expertise? Increasing profitability through government contracting and operations improvements, and assisting startups to write business plans.
What's most interesting about your business background? I loved all things business the minute I was introduced to business as a teenager! I knew I was meant to be and work with entrepreneurs.
What inspires you about Sonoma County? The opportunity to work with a diverse population, especially women, to foster this unique entrepreneurial environment.
What are you most passionate about? Empowering others to succeed and make their dreams come true!
If you had a golden rule for small business owners, what would it be? Do your research.

CA Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant for Sonoma County
Grants of $2,500 are available to Sonoma micro-businesses starting April 1 until May 1 or until funds are exhausted
Your business must meet ALL of these criteria:

  • Verified as locally-owned and operated (physically located in Sonoma County);
  • Did NOT receive a grant from the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program (administered through Lendistry);
  • Currently active and operating;
  • Open and operating prior to COVID-19 (prior to December 31, 2019);
  • Currently have less than 5 full-time equivalent employees and had less than 5 full-time equivalent employees in 2019 and 2020;
  • Generated less than $50,000 in business revenue in 2019 (as verified by tax returns);
  • The applicant is the majority-owner and manager of the microbusiness;
  • This business was the applicant's primary means of income in the 2019 taxable year;
  • Significant negative impacts to operations as a result of COVID-19; and
  • Not considered ineligible per other criteria

This grant is funded by the CA Governor's Office & administered via the Sonoma County Economic Development Board.
