It’s just a couple of days until the first day of summer, and while you may have ideas of vacation or relaxing weekends, there's one event on the SBE calendar I'd like you to note: The SBE Leadership Development Course. Held annually, the SBE has offered this course since 1997, but its roots go back to 1965. The course this year will be held in Los Angeles, October 8 to 10. Add it to your calendar now and register to save your seat in the class. There's more information in this issue of SBE-news.

One final reminder to pay your SBE dues. The grace period ends July 1, so don’t lose your member benefits. Renew today. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. Reach me at president@sbe.org.
