MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
Greetings!

Amazed, inspired, and grateful are the feelings I have when I think of your generosity. Somewhere in the community a child or family is calling for help, and because of you, a caring voice answered.

Thank you to all our volunteers for answering the call to serve and to donors for supplying needed resources and funds to support our mission.

As we move ahead with vision and purpose, we know that in dark times we can provide others with the light of hope when we answer their call of need. Families are provided fresh food and resources and children - emotional support activities, all from your passion to help others.

I extend my sincere gratitude for your care and support and wish each of you good health. May we all move ahead and continue to strive to lend a hand to others and to provide vision for better days ahead!

Warm Wishes,

Renee Gorman, Founder
COMMUNITY PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
In 2021, SBIM would like to thank our valuable community partners! This month we would like to thank Food For Others for providing 4,000 lbs of food every month for our pop-up community food distribution in addition to providing us with shelves for our new space at Worldgate. We also are fortunate to have them provide fresh food and canned/dry goods regularly to support our efforts to deliver food to our families in need.

We would also like to thank Air Engineers, Inc. who was gracious enough to donate 5 commercial refrigerators to us for our Worldgate space. This has allowed us to now store produce, eggs, milk, and meats so that our families can receive fresh food in their deliveries!

We are so blessed to have such amazing people to work within our area; these partnerships have allowed us to do even more for the families we serve!
VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Christine Hall is our spotlight volunteer for the month of January. When it comes to a volunteer role, Christine has SBIM covered. She has offered to fill many different roles from urgent family deliveries, picking up last minute donations, delivering an emotional care pack to a child in need, working at monthly food distribution pop up and assisting in our Worldgate location.

Christine is always ready to say yes to support the SBIM mission and we are so thankful for her time, care, and willingness to serve.

Thank you for your service Christine. It is greatly appreciated!
