Second Judicial District Court Continues Reopening; Criminal Dockets Set
The Second Judicial District Court has issued two new orders regarding the resumption of court services following closures related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Administrative Order 2021-05(B)notes the changes to court procedure as it continues reopening, effective July 6, 2021. The order notes that while in-person court proceedings are occurring, appearance by remote means is still preferred.
Amended Administrative Order 2021-11provides the hearing schedule for criminal dockets, including both remote and in-person proceedings. The schedule provided in the order is effective the week of July 19, 2021. Criminal dockets are heard at 9 a.m.

The Board of Bar Examiners writes and grades the bar examination questions and oversees the administration of the two bar examinations. The board works closely with the Supreme Court and the Board of Governors, through their appointed liaison, in formulating rules and procedures for admission to the State Bar of Nevada.
