Mc Letchie, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2000 from SC State. She went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in anthropology, a certificate in museum management in 2003 and Ph.D. in sociology in 2013 -- all from the University of South Carolina. Her book “Contributions of Historically Black Colleges and University in the 21st Century,” which was co-edited with Dr. Anisah Bagasra and Dr. Jonathan Wesley, was published in 2022.
