Science Central is excited to announce the opening of a universal restroom on the Lower Level!
Come celebrate the new fully-accessible, gender-neutral, family-friendly restroom as Science Central hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on July 17!
Science Central was able to construct the universal restroom due to generous support from the
AWS Foundation.
The addition will help make our facility inclusive of all our visitors.
The new restroom also
offers Science Central visitors more privacy and flexibility, and includes an adult changing table.
"AWS Foundation is proud to support Science Central’s efforts to go above and beyond basic ADA requirements to provide a family bathroom with an adult changing table," Joni Schmalzried, AWS's Chief Program Officer said. "A step like this moves Science Central closer to making every day a little more accessible to everyone."
