SCAAR'S Government Affairs Committee NEEDS More

Members! We have new and lofty goals of getting eyes and

ears on what local government is working on with the hopes

of being the go-to association for all questions and proposed

changes to homeownership rights in our communities.

This is a great way to learn more about how each community

impacts your client's rights to do what they want with their

properties. To do that we need more members now!

Humanitarian Committee

The Humanitarian Committee had 14 applications this year for the scholarships! The committee received a large amount of highly qualified applicants. As such, we asked the board for permission to award FOUR instead of the annual THREE that are awarded!

Our next meeting is Monday, August 21, 2023 9:30-10:30 at the SCAAR office Sartell - 2109 Troop Dr., Sartell. We would love to have you join us! We meet every other month.

Their participation helps lower our Association Dues.

Holiday Party Task Force

Pre-Registration is now OPEN!! Just visit the SCAAR website and search the events calendar for the SCAAR Holiday Party on January 12^th. We want to make this as easy as possible to plan for! Once the dinner choices are available, we will contact you for your meal selections. We look forward to seeing you all there!!

Golf Committee

The SCAAR Golf Committee has been hard at work collecting donations to be auctioned off during the Silent Auction after the golf tournament on August 7^th. We will be meeting with this year’s charity organization, Homeless Helping Homeless, The Lincoln Center, on July 19^th. We’re looking forward to learning more about the Center and how our donation will help them achieve their goals. If you are interested in making a donation to the silent auction, please contact Nicole Moore at the SCAAR Office. The Golfer and Sponsor Registration forms have been sent out and we’d love to see everyone at the event. Register before July 17^th for early bird savings!

Public Relations Committee

Hello from your PR Committee!

Dream Center Cook-out was a success: On June 20 the PR committee did a cook-out and served approx. 40 residents and staff. Always a great experience and much appreciated by the Dream Center. An extra thank you to Sander Anderson for doing all the grilling on a very hot day!

CMBA Golf Sponsor: We are getting organized to sponsor a hole at the CMBA golf tournament at Wapicada on July 19. We could use more volunteers to take a time slot to sit at the hole on the day of the tournament. Contact Kelly, Jan, or Sander if you would like to help us out!

Billboards promoting SCAAR realtors: Did you see it? It was running June 19-25 on Division by Best Buy.

ALS Walk: We will be a sponsor for the ALS Walk again this year. Mark your calendars for Aug. 26 at Lake George. Click here to sign up to walk or donate today!

Social Hour: A big Thank You to TruStone Financial for sponsoring the June Social Hour. The lucky drawing winner of a $50 Visa card was Bridget Vee with The Title Team. – Make sure to join us for the July Social Hour which will be sponsored by the SCAAR Golf Committee.
