WHAT'S NEW?
CAEP Consortium and Member Effectiveness Webinar
June 25, 2021, 12:00 pm

Come join Carolyn Zachry, Neil Kelly, CAEP TAP, and CASAS to review the State’s member effectiveness structure, how it will work, process steps to becoming an effective or ineffective member, and the consequences of being an ineffective member. This webinar will cover consortium/member effectiveness as it pertains to CAEP deliverables as certified as part of the CFAD assurances.

Earn a Bookkeeping Fundamentals Certificate!

Beginning in August, Fresno City College, in partnership with the Fresno K-16 Collaborative and State Center Adult Education Consortium, will be offering a Bookkeeping Fundamentals Certificate. The courses will have a flexible schedule and are reserved for current adult school learners transitioning to college.

Fees for qualified Adult Education candidates are covered through the funds and efforts of the Fresno K-16 Collaborative and State Center Adult Education Consortium.

BRANDMAN UNIVERSITY NO-COST COURSES
Brandman University, in partnership with the Fresno K-16 Collaborative and State Center Adult Education Consortium, is offering CompTIA A+ Certification free of charge.
CompTIA A+ Certification Online Self-paced Course

Understand how computer systems architecture can be implemented and properly maintained to support the needs or an organization. Become proficient in how operating systems are installed, configured, and used in various business settings. At the end of each course, students will be ready to sit for the exam and take the next step to become CompTIA A+ certified.

Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Training

The Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board is offering a 6-week, no-cost training designed to expose students to several different construction trades. The next class will begin on July 6, 2021 and is limited to 20 students.

Students must register for orientation at www.valleybuild.net.

MADERA COUNTY WORKFORCE ASSISTANCE CENTER SERVICES

MCWAC has received funding to provide supportive service assistance for individuals who have been laid off due to COVID-19, have experienced a reduction in hours/pay due to COVID-19, or are unable to work for COVID-19 related reasons.


FRESNO COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY

In addition to many other services, The Fresno County Public Library offers assistance with job and career searches, services for New Americans and Veterans, and homework help. Click on the link below to access their website for more information.
