Immigration Toolbox


The Immigrant Legal Resource Center's Higher Education Technical Assistance Project is a statewide effort supported by the California Department of Social Services.


The ILRC website at www.ilrc.org lists a number of services available to immigrants to help clarify complicated immigration issues. If someone you know needs assistance, be sure to check out the community resources tab.

Get access to the digital resources and support needed to thrive in the 21st century.


Human-I-T is a nonprofit working with COABE and CCAE to provide low-cost devices, internet access, and digital skills training to individuals lacking access to critical digital technology.

Good Jobs Challenge Grant


The Fresno-Madera K-16 Collaborative has established a partnership with the Fresno EDC as part of the Good Jobs Challenge Grant initiative to offer a range of certification courses at Fresno City College.


The top flyer is specific to students enrolled in the Medical Office Specialist, Office Specialist, and Bookkeeping Fundamentals programs.


The bottom flyer is for students in the Maintenance Mechanic and Maintenance & Light Repair programs.


Eligible students can receive tuition support, child care, parking passes and other services. Interested students should scan the QR code on the flyers to see if they qualify.

Free Career Counseling


Fresno State, in partnership with Chevron, is seeking 500 people for free career counseling. Each participant can receive up to six free counseling sessions at Fresno State's Fresno Family Counseling Center.

Greater Sierra Forestry Corps and Yosemite Adult School Featured on ABC30


This transformative 10-week program equips participants with nationally recognized certifications and career-ready skills in wildland fire and forestry - all at no cost.


Supported by multiple partnerships and the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board, the program removes barriers like childcare and supply costs to help students succeed.

In addition to many other services, The Fresno County Public Library offers assistance with job and career searches, services for New Americans and Veterans, and homework help.

Root and Rebound Reentry Advocates


Root and Rebound works to support people navigating reentry and reduce the harms perpetuated by mass incarceration. In addition to other services, they provide free legal support for people with convictions/arrest records in California.
