Greater Sierra Forestry Corps and Yosemite Adult School Featured on ABC30

This transformative 10-week program equips participants with nationally recognized certifications and career-ready skills in wildland fire and forestry - all at no cost.

Supported by multiple partnerships and the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board, the program removes barriers like childcare and supply costs to help students succeed.

Fresno City College Maintenance Programs

In addition, they are offering a Maintenance & Light Repair (Automotive) program beginning January 12, 2025. Classes will be held at the West Fresno Center.

The FCC Applied Technology division has Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial) program starting February 3, 2025 at the Career & Technology Center (CTC).

The Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE) is seeking nominations for Teacher of the Year, Student of the Year, Administrator of the Year, and many other categories.

Karess is one of the FRWDB Quarterly Adult Achievement Award Winners. She completedher Nursing Assistant Training Program at Valley ROP and passed her Certified Nurse Assistant State Exam. Watch the video to hear about her inspiring story!

Our Transition Team is here to help

Our staff continues to be available to assist students with community resource referrals, academic and career counseling, financial aid assistance, and college application assistance.

Appointments with a Transition Specialist can be made by visiting our Student and Teacher Resource website at www.SCAECLearns.org.

Root and Rebound Reentry Advocates

Root and Rebound works to support people navigating reentry and reduce the harms perpetuated by mass incarceration. In addition to other services, they provide free legal support for people with convictions/arrest records in California.
