St. Mark's Episcopal Church

An inclusive fellowship called by God, through Christ, to love and serve the world.

July 3, 2025

Lord God Almighty, in whose Name the founders of this country won liberty for themselves and for us, and lit the torch of freedom for nations then unborn: Grant that we and all the people of this land may have grace to maintain our liberties in righteousness and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Fake email! Do not respond!

Once again, Rev. Pam's name has been used on a scam email asking for money. If you look closely, you'll see that the name is correct but the email address is fake. We have explored the issue and there is nothing we can do about it. It happens at other churches also. DO NOT RESPOND! St. Mark's and St. Mark's clergy will never ask you for money or gift cards this way, but if you're in doubt, please call the office.

Resources and contacts

As members of St. Mark’s, we are called to live out our faith not just within the walls of our church but in the world around us. Our voices matter in shaping the decisions that impact our community, our nation and the most vulnerable among us. Please CLICK HERE for updated resources to help you engage with elected officials and faith-based initiatives that align with our values of justice, compassion and service. We encourage you to take a moment to review these resources, reflect on the issues close to your heart, and let your voice be heard. Together, we can be instruments of change and hope.--Rev. Pam

Food for St. Francis

The first Sunday of each month is "Food Bank Sunday" at St. Mark's. Your donations of non-perishable food items on July 6 will go to St. Francis Center. Please look for the blue bin on the church steps.

Registration open for Sacred Ground on Zoom

Sacred Ground is a popular program of conversations about race and faith offered by the National Episcopal Church. Find out more about it HERE. Our diocese is offering a 22-week Zoom program starting in late August and running through late February 2026. To find out more about that offering and to register, CLICK HERE. Also, St. Mark's will offer our fifth in-person circle of Sacred Ground over 13 weeks in January-March 2026. Sign-ups will begin in November.
