There is a type is scam occurring that targets MTNA members. It used to just target the board members, but the message below was recently received by a teacher member. No one on the VMTA board would ever solicit any member to buy gift cards or send money. If you receive this type of request just delete or send to me to check.

The Vermont Music Teachers Association needs electronic gift cards to make donations to Veterans in Hospice and Palliative care units to buy coronavirus disease (COVID-19) prevention items.
