A message from our Board of Directors...

Summer is winding down, believe it or not, which means that we are headed into a time when planning for next year begins in earnest for many businesses. At SCBA, we are here to help you build ties in your community to continue to strengthen your business!

This month, join us for lunch on August 15th! Jon Allen of Advantage Internet Marketing will discuss business uses for web video and how to make it work for YOU. This is often an intimidating aspect of web based marketing for businesses but Jon will help guide you through the various aspects of it to make it achievable!

Please also mark your calendars for THREE September events. We will start the month with a Power Networking Breakfast at Merritt Health Club on September 6th. Please also note that our September lunch will be on the second Wednesday of the month, September 12th, instead of the usual 3rd Wednesday.

We encourage you to sign up for our golf tournament on September 25th. We have made many opportunities available for both golfers as well as non-golfing supporters. This event supports the SCBA's scholarship fund. This year, we've been able to award 3 Carroll County high students with $1000 scholarships plus we've funded $2000 worth of scholarships at Carroll Community College. Check out the entire calendar and register for any of these events HERE.

Sincerely,
The SCBA Board of Directors
