A message from our Board of Directors...

This month's newsletter is chock full of info to review, so grab another cup of coffee and enjoy!

In August we were lucky to have our SCBA Treasurer and owner of Liberty Chiropractic, Desiree Williams, host our networking breakfast. And last week, SCBA board member Ben Cook hosted another breakfast at Strategic Factory. At our August lunch, one of this year's SCBA scholarship recipients joined us and we are happy to see her launch her college career at Carroll Community College.

We offer a warm welcome to several local businesses who have just joined the SCBA. And we have listed quite a few events that our members are having - be sure to check them out.

The SCBA’s only fundraiser of the year, our annual Golf Tournament, is coming up September 24th. 100% of the net proceeds from the tournament goes to the SCBA Scholarship Fund. Please join us this year and recruit your friends and fellow golfers! Information is listed in this newsletter and on our website .

2019 SCBA Scholarship Winner

Upcoming SCBA Golf Tournament

The SCBA's Annual Golf Tournament will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 9am at The Links at Challedon in Mt. Airy, MD. This event is the SCBA's only fundraiser each year with 100% of the net proceeds going directly to the SCBA's Scholarship fund. This fund gives local high school students money toward their future college endeavors. Please consider either being a golfer, a sponsor, or both - it's a great cause and a super fun day!
