4.10 - Workshop: Plot Meets Character with editor Kate Prosswimmer - In this interactive workshop, you’ll be introduced to a variety of storytelling structure tools. Attendees will have the chance to experiment with applying these tools to their own work during the workshop portion of the presentation. 11.10 - עלו שלב! עם לין מארי
בסדנה זו נחקור את המרכיבים שיוצרים פיקצ'רבוק טוב או סיפור אחר (ומרכיבים אלו מופיעים ברוב הסיפורים המצליחים), ונבחן דוגמאות - ובכך נחזק את הסיפור מהתחלה ועד הסוף! הסדנה כוללת דף עבודה עם "שלד סיפור" שניתן להיעזר בו בכל פעם שנדרשת תשתית מוצקה לכתיבה שאפשר להלביש עליה מילים. בנוסף ייערך תרגיל כתיבה ודיון בדוגמאות של המשתתפים, ולאחר מכן תתקיים פינת "שאל את המחברת/העורכת". לסדנה מצורפת גם הזדמנות להגשת טקסטים. לין מארי היא מחברת עטורת פרסים שפרסמה פיקצ'רבוקס רבים.(15$) להרשמה
11.10 - Level Up! with Lynne Marie - In this workshop, we will explore the elements that make a good picture book or other story (and appear in most successful stories) and discuss examples, thereby strengthening the story from head to toe! The workshop includes an actual story skeleton handout to follow when needing a solid story base to flesh out with words. A writing exercise and discussion of attendee examples will be followed by an “Ask the Author/Editor” session. A submission opportunity is attached to this workshop. Lynne Marie is the multi-published, award-winning author of picture books (15$)
