Hello friends,

Happy September!

Schedules tend to be a little busier this time of year (let's face it, busy for the next few months) and that may be due in part to the various events happening within our region.

We thought we would help you cut down on your "info search time" by highlighting where you can find the latest updates about what's going on in SCBWI-MI.

  • Email (Add us to your email list. Check your spam folder too!)
  • Event calendar on our region's website
  • Social media (check out our accounts below. Follow us!)

As always, if you have any questions related to SCBWI-MI or the SCBWI organization, please feel free to contact your co-RAs, Carrie Pearson or Jodi McKay, or our IC, Katie Eberts.

Warmly,

Carrie and Jodi

Sending heartfelt gratitude to our Mentorship Coordinator, Ann Finkelstein

Text Link

For six years, consummate volunteer Ann Finkelstein has assumed the roles of a shepherd, mathemetician, salesperson, arbitrator, and cheerleader--otherwise known as "the Mentorship Coordinator"--for SCBWI-Michigan. She crafted a consistent, equitable, and inclusive mentorship program that built careers and moved our members toward their dreams. Now, Ann is stepping aside from this role to spend more time on her own writing. We wish you all the best, Ann.

Please join us in thanking Ann. Click to send her a note!

Be on the look out! More information and a link to register will be sent out soon.
