Well, I guess we really can't complain about the weather here in New England, it seems like the entire country has been experiencing what used to be called a "New England Winter".  So far, I have had to use my snow blower once (and once my neighbor, knowing my back was aching, did it for me), not complaining.

Our recent event, Hosted by Texas Roadhouse Restaurant, was well attended and well received.  The food was very good, as usual and Matt and Evie did a wonderful job delivering it to us, hot and tasty.  The hot dinner rolls and cinnamon butter were a little bit late but well worth the wait!  And, to top off the meal, we had Joanne's now famous Valentine's Day inspired white and milk chocolate covered strawberries!

This month we have two events to share with you.  First, we will be at the new Stoughton Library on Monday, March 23, for a Business Before Hours.  The topic will be Health Insurance for Business and the Insurance Connector.  I can tell you from experience, trying to navigate through the health insurance process is much like trying to navigate an ocean without a compass.  Just as you think you're heading in the right direction, a rogue wave hits you right in your deductible!!

On Monday, March 30, your Chamber will be hosting our annual Candidate's Forum at town hall (3rd floor). beginning at 6:30 pm with refreshments from Panera Cafe, followed by a panel of candidates running for various positions at Board of Selectmen, School Committee, Redevelopment and Moderator.  This is the place to go to hear what the candidates have to say so that you can make an informed decision on who should be running our Town of Stoughton.
