topStoughton Chamber Members,

We have two very special Chamber Events coming up for you during the months of November and December:
  • November 18th: will be our annual "Caught You Doing Something Good" Dinner and ceremony, hosted by our good friends, and fellow Chamber member, Town Spa Family Restaurant!
  • December 9th: We have something very different, something very special, for our SCC Holiday Party, "Being Robin" A Tribute to Robin Williams, a performance by Mr. Roger Kabler, who is one of the top Robin Williams impersonators in the world!! Roger will also be sharing his Pacino, DeNiro, Walken, and other celebrity personalities as they take the stage! You don't want to miss this one!!
  • Roger has performed his impersonations all over the world, including shows in NYC, LA and Las Vegas!  He had his own sitcom, though short lived, back in the 90's called, Rhythm & Blues!       This event will take place at the Portuguese National Club!
For non-Chamber events, the Knights of Pythias Auction for our Food Pantries, which will take place on November 23rd at the Stoughton VFW Post #1645!  There will be a plethora of donated items to bid on and dinner will be provided by Texas Roadhouse Restaurant!  The auction has always been lots of fun, 100% plus of the proceeds will go to our Ilse Marks Food Pantry and St. Anthony's Free Market, via Food Pantry Foundation of Stoughton (FPFS is a 501c3 non-profit).

The slate of nominees for our SCC 2020 Officers and Board of Directors,  will be taking  place in November as well so stay tuned.

"Caught You Doing Something Good"
Hosted b y
Town Spa  Family Restaurant
1119 Washington St, Stoughton
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
"Caught You Doing Something Good has been one of our favorite events because it honors those who are Caught going Above and Beyond, either at the workplace or just in life.  This ceremony is not only for Chamber members but also open to the police and fire departments, the schools, and even the residence.  Anyone can submit a request but we only do 5-8 recipients a year!

Started in 2012, we have now Caught a little under 60 deserving recipients from all types of situations: a 12 year old girl was caught, having saved the life of her young brother who was choking; another young girl had a successful fundraiser for the purchase of a huge American flag that is flown by our Stoughton Fire Dept; a teacher was caught by a principal; a police officer by the Chief of police, a number of Chamber Businesses have also been caught; etc.

Last year there were 9 recipients; from food pantry volunteers to business donators, and people who went above and beyond for strangers because they felt it was just the right thing to do!  Each of the recipients is invited, with 1 guest, to our " CYDSG" Ceremony and treated to a nice meal and then receive a certificate, from their sponsor (the person that did the catching).

This year, for our Annual Holiday Party the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce presents one of the Top Robin Williams Impersonators in the World, Roger Kabler, as he performs his one-man show, "Being Robin" a Tribute to Robin Williams!

Join us as Roger offers some great comic relief with his impersonations of many well-known celebrities such as DeNiro, Pacino, Walken and of course his famous impersonation of the hilarious Robin Williams!

This is a must see as Roger performs some of Robins most beloved characters that we have all grown to love, including: Mrs. Doubtfire, Mork, GM Vietnam, etc.!

Michael Crawford will be our emcee and Chris "The Music Machine" Zienko will provide background ambiance. There will be appetizers and decadent desserts served, as well as a fully stocked cash bar.

A 50/50 raffle will be called during intermission, with 100% of the proceeds going to our food pantries through Food Pantry Foundation of Stoughton (501c3 non-profit corporation).

Doors open at 5:30 pm and there's an Early Bird Savings by purchasing tickets prior to November 30th (unless sold out). Seating is limited so reserve early, this show is bound to sell out!!
