Conservation Quips with Chelsea

On April Fools' Day we shared a new video series called Conservation Quips, hosted by Chelsea Gebbia, former SCD conservation planner. It's not a joke but laughter is inevitable.

With this series, we aim to bring you conservation news and events from across Sussex County, one quip at a time.

Check out the first three videos following the winter soil health events:

So, we hope you'll join us on this adventure, and we look forward to covering a wide array of topics; however, if you have an idea for a video or want to learn about a specific topic, let us know!

Discontinued for 2023

The Delaware Department of Agriculture will continue to promote correctly disposing of all pesticide containers. Properly rinsed containers, with their lids and labels removed, may be disposed of in the landfill if the container is compromised by a hole or cut in the side.

If you wish to continue recycling the containers, contact the current vendor, Ag Plastic Solutions (Justin Geisinger, 717-658-9660), to arrange pickups and discuss your recycling needs.
