SCEDC Fun Fact
In May 2008, the SCEDC made a strategic move to a central office location right here in Sandusky County, making it easier than ever to connect with all corners of the county! This relocation also brought us next door to our partners at OhioMeansJobs Sandusky County, allowing us to effectively tackle workforce needs in the commercial and industrial sectors. Since our move, our office underwent a beautiful renovation in 2022, creating an inviting and functional space for our staff and visitors.

Grand Opening of the
Gibsonburg Logyard Project

The village of Gibsonburg recently celebrated the grand opening of its newly developed Logyard space with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 21, 2024, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. This vibrant gathering spot was designed to bring community members together for a variety of events, including farmers markets, concerts, movie nights, and more.
The Logyard features an impressive 8.5-foot-tall Golden Bear, the Gibsonburg Hall of Fame Wall, and a covered structure with tables and benches, providing a welcoming atmosphere for all. This revitalization project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of community partnerships and the skilled craftsmanship of local contractors.
Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to enjoy this exciting new addition to Gibsonburg, which promises to foster community spirit and connection for years to come.

AGC of Ohio Honors Two Mosser Projects with Top Construction Awards

Congratulations to Mosser Construction for their recent achievements at the Build Ohio Awards. They received the bronze and marble award for the City of Bowling Green Administrative Services Building, showcasing their innovative approach and commitment to quality.
Additionally, the Kokosing/Mosser Joint Venture was honored for the City of Toledo Collins Park Water Treatment Plant Improvements, modernizing critical infrastructure.
