What creative shows have you attended recently? I’m excited because I’m attending back-to-back shows. For two days, I’m in Atlanta for QuiltCon, the biggest event for the Modern Quilt Guild. They are celebrating ten years. I’ve attended or participated in about half the shows and have given SCHMETZ virtuals to many Modern Quilt Guilds. As a guest of Stephanie Hackney, Sales & Marketing Director, Hobbs Bonded Fibers, I’ll be doing SCHMETZ Q&A. If you are attending QuiltCon, drop by the Hobbs batting booth #1205 to say hi. Atlanta this week and Puyallup WA next week. The Sewing & Stitchery Expo is March 2-5, just south of Seattle. I love this show and the many wonderful friends I have met over the years. This year, I am giving two SCHMETZ lectures and two SCHMETZ hands-on exploratory classes. Plus, the show asked me to do Facebooking. So, if you can’t attend, go to Facebook and search for Sewing and Stitchery Expo. I will be posting from the show floor … when I’m not in the classroom.
