Needle Nerds? SCHMETZ Stalkers? Of course, I know SCHMETZ has a tremendous, creative, and loyal following. After all, you can’t use your sewing machine without a SCHMETZ needle. But I was oblivious to SCHMETZ fans referring to themselves as nerds and stalkers.
I was in Las Vegas two weeks ago for the Vacuum & Sewing Machine Dealers Trade Association (VDTA), a wholesale show newly renamed Create+Clean. I had a booth and gave a class. I was delighted when dealers and educators introduced themselves as a Needle Nerd or SCHMETZ Stalker.
