LET Holiday Social

LET’s Holiday Social Gingerbread Building Competition brought together 17 talented youth for an afternoon of creativity, teamwork, and holiday fun at the Woburn Public Library. Youth participants collaborated to build unique gingerbread houses while creating new friendships and connections with questions from SCI’s cultivating question bookmarks!

“I enjoyed seeing friendly faces, the competition, and teamwork,” said one youth participant. For others, the event was about collaboration: “Being paired with someone I didn’t previously know and working together to secure gold 😎,” shared another.

The competition allowed youth to not only showcase their creativity but also meet new people. “Being able to build gingerbread houses with friends and meeting new people was great,” one participant reflected.

SCI Organized Care Packages for 50 Migrant Families!

SCI Woburn collected essentials and holiday goods for migrants new to the Woburn community as part of our Care Package Program. Thank you to our volunteers for helping pack these care packages, along with Inclusive Eats for providing hot meals for the migrants! Thank you to United Methodist Church of Woburn and Chris DiMeo of Know Your Neighbor for help with organizing this event!
