Sloan Creek Intermediate School Principal Message

Happy Thursday,

We have had a great, short week and exciting things are starting tomorrow. Tomorrow, our students will have their first Leopard Time. During this time, students will be in tutoring, clubs, and advisory. I am so excited to start this time for students and hope they enjoy the additional time to enhance their learning.

We will also be opening our "school store" tomorrow. Students have been earning tickets for displaying characteristics of the graduate profile or modeling positive character traits. We will draw tickets during announcements tomorrow, and they can trade in their tickets for items in the store (see pictures below). Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who have donated prizes, organized the store, and are volunteering their time in the store on Fridays. You are so appreciated.

I look forward to seeing those that can join the principal coffee tomorrow. If you are unable to make it, we will include our presentation in next Thursday's newsletter. I apologize that we are unable to offer this session via ZOOM.

One last important thing to note-We will be having a lockdown drill and fire drill on Monday at 9:00 am. You may want to avoid dropping off items at this time. Following these drills we will be hosting a breakfast for our Fairview PD. You may see additional police cars at our campus during this time. We are so thankful for their partnership and helping to keep our staff and students safe.

Have a wonderful evening and as always please reach out if you have any questions.

Most importantly, thank you for sharing your wonderful kiddos with us. It is a joy to watch them learn and grow each day.

Thank you,

Courtney Halpin

The school store is stocked and ready to go.  Thank you to all who have donated items.  We are so appreciative and are excited to celebrate our students.
