New CABHWI Cohort

The  California Behavioral Health and Wellness Initiative  was created to reduce tobacco-related disparities at residential behavioral health facilities in California. The project is lead by the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center (SCLC) and funded by the California Tobacco Control Program (CTCP).

SCLC congratulates the following organizations as the next CABHWI cohort:
· LA CADA’s Allen House
· Grandview Foundation Inc.
· California Human Development Corporation
· Progress House Inc.
· Horizon Services Inc., Cronin House and Chrysalis House

Services awarded to this cohort include a $36,000 grant, in-person and virtual trainings, monthly one-on-one assistance, a Community of Practice (CoP) learning collaborative, and tools for integrating overall wellness offerings into regular activities.
