!NEW! SCMA Family Hike and Brunch
SCMA Family Hike and Brunch:
Date:
Sunday, August 27, 2017
Location: Shiloh Ranch Regional Park, Windsor, CA 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Join the SCMA team and your colleagues for a hike through Shiloh park. After the morning hike, join us for bocce ball, horseshoes and a light champagne picnic brunch! We will lead various hikes for light to moderate skill levels. All ages welcome!
The 850-acre park in east Windsor has nearly 8 miles of trails for hiking, bicycle and horseback riding. Shiloh Ranch is a rugged landscape in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. The park includes oak woodlands, forests of mixed evergreens, ridges with sweeping views of the Santa Rosa Plain, canyons, rolling hills, a shaded creek, and a pond. The loop trail system allows hikers to create routes of varying lengths and intensity. Many trails are old ranch roads, while some trails are narrow single track. The group picnic area adjacent to the parking lot has barbecues, a gazebo, a lawn and a small grove of oaks. On site parking is only $7.00, free street parking, two new flush restrooms and a drinking fountain for your comfort.
SCMA Awards Dinner - Save the Date:
Join us for the annual Dinner at Vintners Inn on
Thursday, December 7, 2017
Len Klay, MD has offered to chair the Awards Committee Chair. He has asked if we could help him identify a co-chair for the committee. Please consider this opportunity to get involved in the SCMA community. It is not a large commitment of time but is a great way to get to know some of your colleagues and help to honor those who have done so much for our community. If you are interested, please contact Wendy or Rachel at (707) 525-4375 or email Wendy at [email protected].
