SCMSA & SMAF EXECUTIVE BOARD UPDATE

Barbara Darcey has resigned as SCMSA and SMAF President due to being ill with COVID-19 and personal reasons. As fellow board members and personal friends, we thank Barbara for all of her hard work and the countless hours she spent planning events and finding ways to keep us connected during the most difficult year in our organization's history. Barbara, we will miss working alongside you and wish you a speedy recovery.

On January 17th, the SCMSA Nominating Committee met via ZOOM and submitted the nomination of Bree Meredith, SCMSA & SMAF Vice President, to fill the vacancy in the office of president. The election will take place at the upcoming general membership meeting on Thursday, February 4th at 8:00 PM.

General Membership Meeting

We will begin with a brief general meeting at which we will elect our new president. Following the meeting, we will introduce and welcome our newest members while the rest of us get reacquainted with one another. Grab your favorite drink and join us for this important event!

The meeting and election will begin at 8 PM. We hope you are able to join us, but we understand that evenings are busy times for many households. Don’t worry if you can’t make it promptly at 8, the fun will continue and we will be waiting for you to join at your convenience!
