Greater Binghamton SCORE Participates In Innovation Discovery Event at Griffiss Institute

This all day event consisted of three 90-minute sessions in which AFRL Information Directorate scientists/engineers gave presentations on the technologies that they are developing for military use to a panel of individuals with strong technical or business backgrounds. Check out one of our latest success stories.
Patrick Mateer saw a two-fold problem at farmers markets. Farmers weren't selling all their available food and people who wanted to buy their produce couldn't always make it out.

To tackle the problem, he started Seal the Seasons. He's working with local farms to freeze fresh food which allows them to sell to local grocers and schools year-round. He now plans to scale across the country. SCORE mentors have helped him along the way.
