SCORE Clients Win BIG on "America's Big Deal"
|
|
Along with three other entrepreneurs, she pitched her product to representatives from Lowes, Macy's and QVC/HSN. People watching the show were able to purchase the products, and whichever product was most successful could receive an offer from one of those companies.
Sherrill sold $30,000 worth of Minkee Blue bags during the show - the highest amount of all four contestants.
The result? She won!
She received offers of purchase orders for $100,000.00 from both Macy's and QVC/HSN and will be selling her products at Macy's.
The following week, Brittany Cribbs, a client of SCORE Mentor McKieva Sullivan and SCORE North Metro Atlanta, wowed viewers and judges alike with her Cloud 9 memory foam portable seat. As part of the show's format, Brittany sold over $25,000 of cushions in 30 minutes to place #1 in sales. On top of that she received a $175,000 purchase order for her Cloud 9 seat cushion from the Home Shopping Network! Both Macy's and Lowe's offered to match the HSN offer -- Brittany selected HSN due to her "devotion" to Joy Mangano.
